Have you ever researched how many Saint Louis’ Medical Spas that have gone out of business with their client’s prepaid contracts? Don't be fooled by the laser centers that say they will guarantee your permanent hair removal or your treatments will be free of charge for two years following your last treatment. We are here to help you make informed decisions on your laser hair removal needs, without being scammed, over-promised or pressured into a costly contract. Below, are the answers to many of the questions we have heard throughout the past ten years we have been in business. Feel free to call us with any other questions or concerns you may have.
#1 As stated by the FDA, laser hair removal practices are not allowed to claim they can guarantee you permanent hair removal. They may claim, as INFINITY does, permanent hair reduction. Permanent hair reduction is defined as reduction in the amount of dark course hairs on the body by about 85% after an average of six treatments, but this may vary per individual. Any hairs that remain are usually finer, thinner and lighter in color as a result of the initial treatments. The effectiveness of laser hair removal beyond ten years is not known as lasers have only been utilized in the US for hair removal since the late 1990’s. In our ten plus years of experience, many INFINITY clients tell us how satisfied they are with the results of their treatments and that the unwanted hair has been satisfactorily reduced.. We will never make a claim to get every last hair, but you will have significant permanent reduction and be happy with your results.
#2 Some laser centers require you to prepay for your services and sign up-front contracts. At INFINITY, there are no prepayments or contracts. We make it affordable and easy for you to pay for your treatments as you move through the scheduled treatment cycle. For additional savings, your treatment charge drops to a reduced maintenance charge should you need more than five treatments. You can be rest assured that we will be here if you ever need a touch up or want to remove hair from a different body part.
#3 Many of our clients ask why we are so much more affordable than other laser centers. Our answer is that, since 1999, we have been in business longer than any other laser center in the St. Louis area. We can assure you that the quality of service is not compromised, by spending less for your laser treatments and being able to pay as you go. We don't have the overhead that many the new Medical Spas have. So, if you aren't interested in all of those other cosmetic services i.e.: Botox, Wrinkle reduction, Lipodisolve, then why should you be paying for it? Laser hair removal is all we do all day, every day, except for Sundays. We are specialists in laser hair removal with more than ten years of experience. We have maintained our reputation and success because of our client's referrals and reward them for it with gift cards. We do minimal advertising, thus allowing us to passing the savings on to our clients.
#4 Don't be fooled by laser centers that have certified technicians performing the treatments with no background in skincare or anatomy. A four hour training class is all that is required to become ‘Certified’ by a laser manufacturer. INFINITY technicians are not only certified, they are either State Board Licensed Estheticians or Registered Nurses. We recommend going to someone who has experience in hair removal and not just a place that says they are supervised a medical doctor. Most of the time, the doctor is not in the office and does not actually perform the treatments.
#5 Currently, there is no laser technology that has been proven to effectively treat light hair. It is necessary for pigment to be present in the follicle to absorb the heat that damages the bulb and retards it from growing hair again. Blonde, white, red or gray hair is absent of that pigment. Laser Centers that claim they can effectively treat people with light hair are not giving accurate information. These centers may allow you to come back free of charge for two years if you still have hair, but if it doesn't work, it's a waste of your time and your money. We have researched different treatment options and have found the only permanent solution to treat unwanted blonde, white red or gray hair is done by Electrolysis.
